Continuation of COVID-19 Policies & Procedures
The Lundquist Institute has implemented a number of policies and procedures relating to the COVID-19 situation. Initially these were in effect until March 31, 2020. We are extending these policies and procedures thru April 17, 2020.
Human Resources & Payroll
All employees are reminded to be sure to have all work hours entered into Paycom and to approve their time first thing Wednesday morning, April 1st. Any employee having issues logging onto Paycom should contact John Munz (310-222-3610 / firstname.lastname@example.org).
Investigators and supervisors have been sent instructions for special reporting of their staff requiring salary support as a direct result of being unable to work or having reduced hours due to the COVID-19 crisis. This information is due to John Munz in Human Resources no later than 10 am on Tuesday, March 31st. Please contact John Munz with any questions.
Lundquist Building Access Restrictions & Entry Tracking
As announced on last Friday, all Supervisors/PI’s are responsible for maintaining a log of each employee’s presence in a Lundquist Institute building – i.e., the date, time of entry and time of departure and for submitting that log to John Munz each Friday night. The first logs are therefore due this evening. Please email them to John Munz at (email@example.com).
NIH Allowing Late Grant Applications through May 1, 2020
Important: Notice announcing that grant applications submitted late for due dates between March 9, 2020, and May 1, 2020, will be accepted through May 1, 2020. This notice applies to all relevant funding opportunity announcements, including those that indicate no late applications will be accepted. A cover letter providing a justification is not required. NIH will be extending the expiration date of most FOAs expiring between now and May 1.
